Jason Brent McIntyre was born on December 19, 1957, in the middle of a snowstorm in Sterling, NY. He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer McIntyre; 5 children, Heather McIntyre, Jason A McIntyre, Alexander McIntyre, Donna McIntyre, and Sylvester McIntyre. He has one child that preceded him in death: Ruth McIntyre. Jason had 10 brothers and 4 sisters. Seven of those passed on before him. The surviving ones are Carol Fields, Ducella Zamora, Jerry McIntyre, Sam Parmelee, Lyman McIntyre, Cissy Quigley, and Matthew McIntyre. He had 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Jason was a veteran of the US Army and served for 2 years. He drove tractor trailers for years after that. He retired early from driving and started a daily devotional called Traveling the Damascus Road. He sent that out every day Monday through Saturday and encouraged his readers to attend Church with him on Sundays. He created a motorcycle run in both Yuma, AZ, and Martville, NY to help missionaries. Jason was not afraid to go where most men would not. He worked with Bikers in AZ and helped out missionaries all over. He had a very big personality and was not afraid to pick on anyone. If he did not pick on you, he was mad at you. He even picked on himself. Jason attended church as often as the doors were open.
