Jessica Renea Breeden

Jessica Renea Breeden, 24, Gadsden, went to live with the angels on May 31, 2011. A celebration of the life she lived will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church on Lay Springs Road. Rev. Roy Daugherty will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral Home directing.

To all who knew Jessica will remember her for her bubbly personality, her love and devotion for her son Jamison, her love for her family and her witty sense of humor. Jessica was an avid Auburn Football fan. She attended Etowah High School. She was previously employed at Wal-Mart in Attalla. Jessica was a precious, loving soul who will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Jessica was born in Gadsden on August 4, 1986 to Brian Breeden and Debbie Breeden-Murphy. She was preceded in death by her father, Brian Breeden; grandparents, Leon Collier and Shelton (Red) and Cap Breeden; great-grandparents, James L. and Irene Brunson. She is survived by her son, Jamison Christopher Yates; her parents Dan and Debbie Murphy; sisters, Laura (James)Davis, Julie (Jeff) McDowell and Deanna (Marshall) Williams; brother, Jason (Candy) Murphy; grandmother, Joan Collier; uncles, Jim (Vicki) Collier and Roger Breeden; aunts, Daphne Collier and Jackie Collier; nephews, Carter Davis and Connor Williams; nieces, Kelsey Murphy and Ainsley Williams; cousins, Tara, Josh, Jake, Devin and Dylan Collier and Tabitha and Shelly Breeden; and her life-time best friend, Kelli White.

Pallbearers will be James Davis, Jeff McDowell, Josh Collier, Jake Collier, Calvin Bishop and Jason Wright.

Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Riverview Regional Medical Center.

Special thanks to UAB LifeFlight and Trauma Center and the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit. Also, special thanks to the Etowah County Sheriff's Department and the Lookout Mountain Volunteer Fire Department.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday night at Collier-Butler Funeral Home and then on Saturday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church an hour before the service.
