Memorial services will be Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Decatur, AL, for Kathryn Cobb Shamblin, 94, of Decatur, who passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012. Dr. Rob Jackson will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden, AL on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ronald Shamblin and her son Rev. Rodney Shamblin.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Minish; grandchildren: Dr. John (Beth) Shamblin, Dr. Vic (Amy) Minish, Marc (Chantel) Minish, Jason (Vicky) Shamblin, and Julie Shamblin; and 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church Building Fund.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, prior to the 2:00 p.m. memorial service.
