Lois Phillips Pruitt

Mrs. Lois Phillips Pruitt, 93, of Gadsden, AL passed away Friday, June 22, 2018. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home with Eulogy given by her daughter, Joanna Neal and prayer given by Bro. Lauil Thompson. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery.

Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.

Mrs. Pruitt was born May 21, 1925 and was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Belk Department store after many years of service and was a longtime member of Northeast Alabama Ballroom Dance Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Pruitt; parents, Oscar and Jewel Phillips; brothers, Buford Phillips and Sam Phillips.

Survivors include her children, Joanna Neal and Jeffrey Pruitt; grandchildren, Alan and Beverly Neal; Bethany and Ryan Nielcen; Erika and Heath Turner; Andrew Pruitt and fiance’ Brittany Leigh; great grandchildren, Bailee Neal; Jackson Morgan; Rylee Jo Neal; Evan Turner and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12 pm until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
