Mrs, Martha "MeMe" Bagley Scott, 88, of Gadsden, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Decebmer 27, 2018 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Rev. Jeff Sauls, Rev. Dave Roberts and Rev. Jack Campbell will officiate.
Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.
Mrs. Scott was a Graduate of the Gaston High School Class of 1948. She married James Maxwell Scott on June 12, 1948 and was married for 52 years. She was in PTA and a substitute teacher for 30 years. She grew up at North Highland Baptist Church , she was a G A's leader and was an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Maxwell Scott; mother and father, Zula and Arlie Bagley; brothers, Jerry, A.E., Richard, James and Larry and daughter-in-law, Dana Scott.
Survivors include her son, Randall Scott; daughter, Keri Beth Love; son-in-law, Terry Love; grandsons, Patrick (Angie) Scott and Sean (Hannah) Love; granddaughter, Miranda (Daniel) McEntyre; great grandsons, Brett Scott and Ty Garmon; great granddaughters, Everly McEntyre and Faith (Tyler) McNabb and best lifelong friend, Louise Ashley.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers, Steve, Ken, Jerry, Jeff, Mike and Shannon.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of her sunday school class, grandson and best friend, Sean Love for being there, doing everything, since other daddy died.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, Coats Bend.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
