

The Revs. Bob Thornton, Scott Harris, Bill Drummons and Lauil Thompson will officiate with burial to follow at Williams-Southside Memorial Park. Collier-Butler Funeral Home directing.
Louise retired from Etowah County Board of Education after teaching for many years at Southside High School. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she enjoyed her Sunday School friends.
She was an avid reader, loved her Southside Senior Citizen friends and domino buddies. She was known by all for her beautiful smile. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Groover; father, Herman Darnell; sister, Hazel Handy.
Surviving Louise is her husband, Tommy Maeger; son, David (Suzanne) Brogdon; grandchildren, Lindsay, Emily and Ethan; brother-in-law, Jerome Handy; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Brenda Maeger; nephews and nieces; aunt she never had and uncle, Aunt Gay and Uncle Tom Maeger.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church building fund.
The family will be accepting friends from 6 until 8 this evening at the funeral home.
