Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Collier-Butler Parlor for Mrs. Mary Sue Shaffer “Grammy”, age 92, Gadsden who passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. Rev. Charles Beshears will officiate. Burial will be at Snead Memorial Cove Church Cemetery, Walnut Grove. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.
Grammy was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Shaffer.
Survivors include her daughter, Gale (Joey) Clark and granddaughters, Anna (Josh) Harbin and Julie Clark.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Gentiva Hospice.
The family extends special thanks to Oak Landing Specialty Care and Gentiva Hospice.
There will be no visitation.
