Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Collier-Butler Chapel for Matthew Winston Morgan, Jr., 61, Attalla, who died Thursday, April 11, 2013. The Rev. Doug Baker and Bro. T.V. Burroughs will officiate. Burial will be in Young’s Chapel Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his mother, Patricia Patterson; children, Dillon and Cheryl; brothers, Jeff Morgan (Katie), Tim Morgan; sister, Teleah Cody (Scott); special aunt, Carolyn Bryant; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Morgan, Sr.; and a brother, Byron Morgan.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Bryant, Scott Cody, Luke Cody, Jefforey Morgan, Corey Morgan and Randy Stracener.
The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:30 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service.
