She was a longtime faithful member of Whorton Bend Baptist Church in which she was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School class. She loved and cherished her Church family dearly. Sissy was an awesome lady that was a true fighter and always loved her husband and was a wonderful mother, sister and grandmother. She battled many different sicknesses, but always seemed to leave all hospitals and doctors’ offices smiling, always caring about somebody else other than herself. Our mother was the most selfless and happy person that we have ever known. She was a lady that was ready to meet the Lord as the Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We Love and miss you Sissy (Mom).
