Peggy Jean Sizemore, age 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Mrs. Sizemore was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County and a graduate of Glencoe High School. She was a member of the Glencoe United Methodist Church in Glencoe, AL. Mrs. Sizemore is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, John H. Sizemore Sr. She is survived by son John H. (Sheena) Sizemore Jr. of Lavonia, GA; son Jeffrey K. Sizemore of Glencoe, AL; daughter Gina Lynn Sizemore of Gadsden, AL. and granddaughter Chelsea Lauren Sizemore, Atlanta, GA. The family request no flowers.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Collier Butler Funeral Home in Gadsden, AL. The family will accept friends and family from 1:00 – 2:00 pm preceding the service.
