Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mr. Ralph Curtis Whitt, Jr. 74, Ashville, who passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012. The Rev. Chris Cornutt will officiate with burial at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Ashville, AL. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.

Mr. Whitt retired from Dean Sausage Company .

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Ann Whitt

Daughter, Charlsie (Paul) Cox

Son, Curtis (Brenda) Whitt

Grandchildren; Jessica Jovzpary, Jonathan (Kristen) Whitt, Brittany (Brandon) Kleinatland, Jason Jovzpary and his baby girl Jasmine Jovzpary.

Great grandchild, Braden Kleinatland

A host of nieces and nephews

Pallbearers will be Johnny Thompson, Raymond Thompson, James Thompson, Gary Shirley, Sr., Gary Shirley, Jr. and Jason Shirley.

The family extends special thanks to the staff at Riverview Regional Medical Center 3rd floor and the Davita Dialysis and Physicians Choice in Gadsden for all your help and care for Mr. Whitt. Also special thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at MICU at UAB.

He will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
