Regenia Denise Hardin

Regenia Denise Hardin, age 66, of Southside, Alabama passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024. The family will receive friends and guests at The Church at Wills Creek in Gadsden, Alabama starting at 12:00pm with service to follow at 2:00pm. The services will be officiated by Jason Ellen. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Regenia was a gifted medical professional with disciplines in respiratory therapy and echocardiography. She was dedicated to her profession which touched many lives throughout her career. She was a spicy, fun loving, God fearing wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who loved selflessly. She loved reading, getting pampered, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Regenia was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Johnson and Vernell Johnson; her niece, Heather Moon; and brother-in-law, Larry Moon.

Regenia is survived by her husband, Tommy Hardin; daughter, Jennifer (Danny) Weeks; son, David (Mackenzie) Hardin; grandchildren, Addison and Reagan Weeks; and siblings, Rodney (Faye) Johnson, Vickie Moon, Cindy (Danny) Smith.

Pallbearers will be Danny Smith, Larry McGinnis, Jarred Dunn, Ryan Condy, Dan Weeks, and Randy Holcomb.

Flowers will be accepted or in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the food pantry at The Church at Wills Creek.
