Samuel "Sammy" Thomas O'Bryant

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 05, 2020 at Collier-Butler Chapel.

Rev. Larry Perkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Collier-Butler Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.

Sammy was a lifelong resident of Etowah County, he retired from Culp Smelting & Refining in Steele, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Lucille O’Bryant; and brother, Johnny O’Bryant.

Survivors include children: Sabrina Lynn Heaton, Gadsden, Alabama, Jeff (Jamie) O’Bryant, Rainbow City, Alabama, and LeAnn O’Bryant, Gastonia, North Carolina.

Grandchildren: Gage O’Bryant, Kristllyn (AJ) James, Dalton O’Bryant, Ashton O’Bryant, Rylee-Grace Burgis, Micah Duff, and Brightyn O’Bryant. Great Grandson, Trey James.

Brothers, Jerome, Dennis “PeeWee”, David “Crockett” O’Bryant;

Sisters: Carol (Johnny) Hebert, Margie (Buddy) Crawford, Paula (Richard) Pennington,

and Linda O’Bryant Carter. A host of beloved nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express sincere thanks for their continued love and care to his sister Paula Pennington, and to Sandy Johnson & family.

Pallbearers will be family members.

The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday afternoon, January 05, 2020 from 1:30-2:30pm prior to the service.
