Shirley "Ann" Patterson Weemes, age 74, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021. A Celebration of Life honoring her will be held at Collier Butler Funeral Home from 11am until 1pm on Friday, October 22.
Shirley Ann was a longtime resident of Gadsden. She was a 1965 graduate of Gaston High School and had the honor of being chosen as their Homecoming Queen. She was member of Word Alive International Outreach
and was proud to serve as a door greeter for Children's Church. She loved her family and her grandchildren and great grandchild were the lights of her life. She had a loving spirit and all who met her felt that spirit and loved her in return. She was full of life, always the lady, and never left home without her hair in place and lipstick on. She would give anything she had or do anything she could for others. Her Christian love will always be her legacy.
Shirley Ann is preceded in death by her parents E.W. "Buck" and Eva Patterson; sister in law Jackie Patterson; and brother in law Don Miles.
She is survived by her daughters Teresa "Tissy" Limbaugh, Angie Hall (Jason), and Aggie Hill (Blake); grandchildren Kyle Mann, Cameron Limbaugh, Lauryn Hall (Garrett Young), Tanner Hall, Kaeden Hill, Micah Hill, Bella Hill, and Noah Hill; great grandchild Cody Mann; siblings Betty Perry (Garry), Jane Miles, Phil Patterson, Sandra Patterson, Steve Patterson (Sandra), and Ronnie Patterson (Melissa); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
