Steven Ladon Mullins

Steven L. Mullins, age 54, of Gadsden, AL, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Rev. Newman Voss will officiate. The family will accept friends on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home for visitation.

Steve worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber for 14 years. He then excelled in the Gadsden State Radiology program and, proudly, accepted employment at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in the Radiology department. Steve was an avid homesteader, enjoying fishing, hunting, genealogy, history and traveling. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends. Steve was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, sibling and friend. He was proud to hand out eggs, home canned goods and help to anyone who walked through his door. He was a giant of a man with a heart of gold. His humor, smile and laugh were always contagious. Anyone who met him walked away better for knowing him.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Ladon Mullins; mother, Carolyn Ann Mullins; son, Ryan Kane Mullins; and brother, Marc Mullins.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Mullins; son, Brad Mullins; daughter, Chassidy Taylor; son, Erick (Michele) Taylor; son, Bobby Mullins; grandchildren, Jacob Taylor, Karson Taylor, Kayden, Bella and Ryleigh Mullins; expecting new granddaughter, Evelyn Mullins; sister, Maria (Robbie) Eagly; brother, Bill (Tammy) Brady Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brad Mullins, Erick Taylor, Bobby Mullins, Jacob Taylor, Kayden Mullins, Robbie Eagly, Maddox Eagly, Bill Brady Jr, Justin Cornelison.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Karson Taylor and Shayne Gables.
