Graveside Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Forrest Cemetery for Mr. Timmie Eugene Stephens, Jr. 57, of Gadsden who passed away Monday, July 13, 2015. Rev. Joey Jones will officiate.
Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.
Tim was a member of Riverbend Baptist Church, where he served as music minister. He served as assistant music minister at Whorton Bend Baptist Church. Prior to retirement he was employed as an accountant with the Gadsden Housing Authority.
He was a devoted son and caregiver to his parents and a loving brother.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Timmie Eugene Stephens, Sr. and Elizabeth Pauline Stephens.
Tim is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth (Zack) Mozley, Wanda Stephens, Patricia Ann Stephens and Donna (Joseph) Bates, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Riverbend Baptist Church.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Kenneth Street.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
