Graveside Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday-July 12, 2011 at Union Hill Cemetery for Timothy Aaron Rhodes, age 51 of Southside who passed away Saturday-July 10, 2011. Rev. Glenn Mize will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.
Mr. Rhodes was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County and of the Methodist Faith. He enjoyed drag racing at Steele Drag Strip.
He is survived by his wife; Jill Smith, son; Joseph Smith, parents; Frank and Katherine Rhodes, sisters and brothers; Shelby South, Nancy (James) Nash, Marvin (Ruth) Rhodes, Wesley Rhodes, Lisa Rhodes and Alvin (Cindy) Rhodes, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be; Lewis Jones, Keith Ashley, Mason Rhodes, Barry Dingler, Brent and Brad Hester and Vant Robertson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any favorite charity.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m Tuesday at the funeral home.
