Visitation for Tommy will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. with funeral service Thursday at 3:00 PM in Collier Butler Chapel. Rev. Tony Hughes will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.
Tommy was a member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church and a former officer of Clanton Lions Club. He was a graduate of Hokes Bluff High School, class of 1958 and was a member of the Golden Eagles. He was the founder of The Clanton Advertiser.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia Patterson; son Mark (Treva) Patterson; daughters Denise (Leslie) Eiland and Robin (Steven) Johnson; sisters Charlotte (Mack) Reeves, Marion (Scott) Huff, and Sandra (Richard) Chalfant; 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends LaFain Freeman and Wayne Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Leslie Eiland, Steven Johnson, Scott Huff, Brandon Huff, Jason Reeves, and James Wayne Stewart.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Hokes Bluff Class of 1958 and members of the Clanton Lions Club.
