Funeral services will be Monday, April 9th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., at Collier-Butler Chapel for Traci Jill Smith Boatwright, 42, of Gadsden, who passed away Thursday, April 5th, 2018. Pastor Thom Harrison will officiate. Arrangements under the direction of Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.
Jill was a loving wife and mother of five children and three stepchildren. She was an avid Auburn fan and loved spontaneous road trips with her husband, especially to the beaches and boardwalks of Fairhope. She was a very giving person who always found happiness in donating to others in need. Jill had a love for fishing and fast cars. She had a smile that always lit up the room and easily spread throughout.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Wayne Smith, Sr.; step father, Charles R.L. Raymond; grandparents, Mamma and Papa T.C., Vona Phillips; and her nanny, Viola Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Boatwright; mother, Jenny Smith Raymond; mother-in-law, Louise Boatwright; children, Brandon, Bailey, Maeci, Riley Fendley, and Elijah Boatwright; stepchildren, Jacob, Thomas, and Hannah Boatwright; siblings, Jay and Jeff Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be George, Joe, and Jim Phillips and Gregory Boatwright.
Memorial may be made in Jill’s name to the Autism Awareness Foundation (www.rtaaf.org)

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, from noon until the hour of service.
