Trula Faye Addison

Funeral services for Trula Addison, of Rainbow City, AL who passed away on March 17, 2026 will be Friday March the 20th at 2:00 PM. Brother Roger Wilmore will officiate with burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Addison was a graduate of Etowah High School and Gadsden Business College. She retired as a Secretary to the Director of the Upper Division of Jacksonville State University at the Gadsden Center. She was a lifelong member of Cherry Street Baptist Church. Trula loved to travel, especially with her traveling buddies.

Ms. Addison was preceded in death by her parents, James Luther and Vanna Estelle Kilpatrick Abney; and sisters, Ruth Welch and Helen Parker.

She is survived by her son, Brad (Lisa) Addison; daughter, Donna (Pete) Williams; and grandchildren, Matthew (Stacy) Williams, Andrew Williams and Clay Addison.

Pallbearers will be friends and family.

Family will receive flowers or donations may be made to Cherry Street Baptist Church or St. Judes Children’s Hospital.

Special thanks to her caregiver, Bree of Enhabit Hospice; special neighbor and friends, Juston Mabrey and Bill and Kay Alexander.

Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Friday prior to the service.
