Betty Jane Mack

B was born in Columbus, Ohio, on April 8, 1943. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Bob Mack; her mother and step-father Alwilda “Dean” and Wallace “Wally” Collins; and her father, Merle McCarty.

B leaves behind her son, Robert “Bobby” (Lisa) Mack; daughter Kimberly “Kim” (Brett) Britton; 4 grandchildren, Chris and Charlie Mack, and Nick (Samantha) and Sydney Britton; 2 great-grandchildren, Aiden and Emma Mack; sisters Hope Ann (Richard) Huntzinger and Diane (Frank) Elliott; nephew Rick (Cyndi) Huntzinger; nieces Deana Jane (Mike) Brown and Crystal (Quinn) Petty; as well as numerous cousins and friends, especially lifelong friends Harold Pyle and Bea Ray.

During her spare time, B enjoyed sewing, working on crafts and word puzzles, reading, gardening, and playing with her “fur babies” Penny and Sally.

Visitation will take place from 4pm-7pm on Tuesday, March 4, at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230. B’s funeral service will take place at Schoedinger Northeast the following morning, March 5, at 10am. Reverend Mike Brown of New Albany, officiating. Services will conclude at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband.

A celebration of B’s life will immediately follow the interment at Flanagan’s Pub, 3001 Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road, Blacklick, OH 43004.
