Caleb was born on April 11, 2006 and later adopted when he was 5 months old by Randy and Stacy Isenbarg.
Caleb attended Gahanna Lincoln High School and received his certificate of completion on July 7, 2023 where Gahanna hosted a special ceremony to recognize him. During the ceremony, he also received a Commendation of Achievement from the Ohio Department of Education as well as a Proclamation from the Gahanna Mayor.
A boy who loved all things Curious George, he laughed especially hard anytime his brothers got into trouble and would turn a stressful situation into a laughable moment when he would start belly laughing.
Caleb enjoyed watching football on the weekends with his dad and brothers, as well as going camping for the weekend and zooming around the campground on a golf cart! Caleb was an avid movie enthusiast and would laugh at the funny parts just seconds before they would happen. He had his favorite movies memorized.
Caleb would pretend to sleep so he could get out of the hard work, but when a lady friend would talk to him, he would raise his head, laugh, and smile. While in high school Caleb took on the job of making fresh dog treats for The Gahanna Barkery and always liked watching his dogs, Sadie and Oliver, eat the scraps he would sneak home.
Caleb is survived by his parents Mike Murphy and Stacy Isenbarg Murphy; brothers Grayson, Jasper, and Austin; father Randy Isenbarg (Shelly); step-siblings Madison and Austin; grandparents Paul Tittle, Jim McLaughlin, and Rick and Linda Isenbarg; aunt Kelly (Aunt KK) and uncle Brandon Coleman; and closest cousins Bayleigh, Paxton, Maddox, and Ethan.
Caleb was proceeded in death by Barbara McLaughlin, “Mamaw,” who we know was waiting for him with open arms.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 2pm-6pm at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230.
