

Cricket was born March 18, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, to Eugene and Maryann Koogler. She graduated Licking Heights High School in 1973 and Columbus Business University in 1986. She was a dedicated school bus driver for Westerville City schools for 13+ years and manager at Westerville Manufacturing where she retired in 2016.
Cricket was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Cricket was a hard fighter. She fought and won the battles of throat cancer, skin cancer, and gave her all in fighting lung cancer and bone cancer.
Cricket is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Maryann Koogler, sister Tonya Ann Landers, and her infant child Jeffrey Brumfield.
Cricket is survived by her daughter Angel Koogler (John Johnson), son Shane Koogler (Rebecca Armentrout), 6 granddaughters including Ariana Johnson and Savanna Koogler, and 1 great granddaughter. She is also survived by siblings Kathlyn Thompson (Danny), Tea Jai McMannus, Michael Koogler, and her devoted friend Roger Klein. She leaves behind her beloved pets Choco (dog) and Skylar (cat).
Cricket was a beacon of light and resilient to all the battles she endured in her lifetime. Her family described her as being brutally honest and sassy with a heart of gold. She provided guidance and was very protective of her family. She enjoyed everything in the beauty and cosmetics industry. She loved getting manicures, pedicures, facials, and makeovers.
Cricket enjoyed outdoor functions, camping, festivals, and community events. She also had a fondness for anything that included turtles.
Cricket will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
