Daniel R. Dunn

He is survived by his children, David B. Dunn (Patricia Ferrandez Dunn), Allison Dunn Tomko, Carole Dunn, and his stepchildren, William M. France Jr (Kim Ward France), Connie France Bowen (George Korzensky), and Linda France Clifford. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn Dunbar, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Born to Joseph Dunn and Mona Tingley in Birmingham, Daniel married Elizabeth France (deceased in 2002) in 1963. Daniel later married Kathleen France(deceased) in 2004. Until recently, Daniel spent his summers on the farm in Johnstown, Ohio, and his winters in Florida.

Daniel graduated from the US Naval Academy after attending Auburn University. While serving in the Air Force, he attended Stanford University and the University of Southern California, receiving Master’s Degrees in both mechanical and civil engineering. Throughout his life, Daniel enjoyed running the farm in Ohio, hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 am at The Church of Ascension (555 South Main Street, Johnstown, Ohio 43031). Viewing will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A private burial service will be held in Florida.
