

David Russell Becker, age 64, of Dayton, Ohio (formerly of Trotwood) died peacefully on November 16, 2024. David was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 17, 1960. He is preceded in death by his wife, Leslie, and his father, Louis Becker. David leaves behind his beloved Mother, Mabel Becker, his brother, Marc, and sisters Wendy (Howard) Rood, and Julie (Joe) King. He was a wonderful uncle to Miriam, Elyse, Cameron, Griffin, Tucker, Reagan, Erica, Tiffany, and Chris and great-uncle to Anthony and Kaleb.
David attended Trotwood Madison High School and earned an Associate Degree of Business Administration at Sinclair Community College and a B.S. in Accounting at Wright State University. He was a respected employee serving as the Comptroller of A&B Foundry.
David loved his family and friends. He called his mother every Sunday to check on her and talk about politics, cooking, and movies. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and watching the Bengals games on TV while texting “Who Dey!” on the phone with his brother Marc.
He was loved and respected by many. His friends and family loved his sarcastic wit, his dry sense of humor and infectious laugh. Since his passing, the outpouring of prayers and thoughts has been a comfort to his family.
