Donna Ann Shipka

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Donna was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her. She took great joy in her simple hobbies of reading and gardening. An avid sports fan, she was particularly dedicated to The Ohio State Buckeyes, proudly cheering them on through every season.

Known as ‘Nana’ to many, Donna cherished her time with family creating lasting memories and sharing countless hours of laughter and love. She also enjoyed her card club and luncheons with friends.

Donna is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert James Shipka, and her cherished daughter, Karen Lynn Shipka. She is survived by her children, Suzanne (Michael) Barton, Lisa (Bobby) Miller, and David (Debra) Shipka; her grandchildren, Amanda, Jeremy, Chad, Corbin, Miles, Jacob, Brandon, Gareth, Rhys, and Simon; as well as many friends and community members.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Kobacker House, a place that provided comfort and care to Donna in addition to the peace she found in her Faith.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Donna on Saturday, Nov 02, at 1:00 PM at Church of the Resurrection, 6300 E Dublin Granville Rd, New Albany, OH 43054. At 3:00 PM following Mass, the family invites all to join in fellowship, memory sharing, and OSU football with light refreshments at their residence, 5451 St. Andrew’s Drive, Westerville, OH 43082.
