Douglas Bias

Douglas "Doug" Alan Bias, of Columbus Ohio, passed away December 15, 2025 at St Ann's Hospital. Douglas was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Doug was born on August 25, 1955, to Roy and Phyllis Bias. Roy preceded him in death in 2014.

Doug married Donna (Morgan) Bias in 1976, his beloved wife of nearly 50 years. Doug and Donna were blessed with three children, Astoria (Jay) Wilson, Andrew (Angie) Bias, and Matthew (Melissa) Bias. Doug and Donna had ten grandchildren, Abigail Wilson, Chance Wilson, Hayden Wilson, Isabella Wilson, Landon Bias, Nolan Bias, Joseph Bias, Kaylin Bias, Hailey Bias, and Wyatte Melvin, and one great granddaughter, Andie Ann Mercer.

Doug was a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. Doug worked for Abbott Labs, retiring after 32 years. Doug loved coaching every sport and was an avid golfer and bowler. He loved gardening. Doug also enjoyed singing. Doug was a devoted born-again Christian and was a long time member of Jersey Baptist Choir.

Visitation will take place on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 10am-12pm at Jersey Church, 13260 Morse Rd SW, New Albany, OH 43054 followed by a service beginning at 12pm. Services will conclude with interment at Maplewood Cemetery.
