He enjoyed fishing and especially serving the Lord. He enjoyed reading the Bible and attending services at Johnstown Independent Baptist Church where he was a member.
Preceded in death by his parents, John Cook and Barbara Holt Cook. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Nichols) Cook; children, Greg (Karen) Cook, Doug (Beth) Cook, and daughter Diana (Kyle) Newcomb; grandchildren, Taylor Newcomb, Zach (Brooke) Newcomb, Justin Cook, Alicia Cook; and siblings, Tom (Bette) Cook, Reba Staten, and Ruth (Don) Lute.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 11am-1pm immediately followed by a service at Schoedinger Northeast 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
