Jan Deichler

Jan was a caring, compassionate, kind and loving woman which made her an excellent mom. She found joy and happiness in helping others, leading her into becoming a nurse for over 50 years. She found pleasure in life’s meaningful moments. She loved spending time with her family who were the center of her world. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures like shopping, playing cards, celebrating Christmas, and collecting Precious Moments figurines. Due to her kind and loving nature, she impacted all people in a positive way, and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Bob (Tara) and Jen (Nigel); and her beloved grandson, Bobby. She also leaves behind her siblings Joe Kuhns (Robin), Tim Rodgers (Cathy Weissberg), Roberta (Rodgers) Massey (Roger), Richard Rodgers, Mary Ellen Cunningham; along with many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. Kuhns; her biological father, William Rodgers; and the father who raised her, Richard Kuhns; along with her brother, William Rodgers.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, December 16, from 4–7 p.m. at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Rd., A funeral service will be held the following day, Wednesday, December 17, at 10:30 a.m., Burial will follow the service at Holy Cross Cemetery in Pataskala OH.
