My favorite memory of John was his kindness to.others and his deep laugh.  I loved to hear him laugh.  John always  made me feel welcome and an important part of his life.  I miss him so much.  My his memory  be eternal.❤️🙏

Hard to believe John has been gone a year. We offer our deepest condolences still to Judy and all his family. We loved him so. 

John was a great leader and a friend at Nickles Bakery, Martins Ferry.
Anytime you needed advice or guidance as a route salesman in our job, he always took the time to help you. His knowledge helped many of us to be successful in our job. 
John will be missed by ALL.

So sorry to hear about John.  He was the last relative to see our mother right before she passed.  He brought some smiles to us in our time of need and I’m sure he had done the same for others besides us over the years.  I was looking forward to our family reunion and being able to listen to stories that John and others share.  It was a blessing having such a large family growing up.  We didn’t realize it at the time in our youth, but we appreciate it more and more as we grow older and step into our elders shoes. 

David, Donnie and the entire family, I’m truly sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to learn of John ‘s passing. He was ever with a broad smile and a genuine interest about myself and the kids when I saw him. Know that I have you and the entire family in my thoughts. 

John was with us when our Momma passed away.  He didn’t know the treasure he gave to me and my siblings I’m sure also.  We are forever thankful for his time with us, recalling stories of our parents when they met. How my dad baby sat for him, which John described as an adventure, very different from how Uncle Jack and Aunt Betty ran things.  The words John used to describe my mother as “stunning”  forever resonate with me,  spoken as a true gift.   Johns kindness will always be remembered by his many cousins.Rest In Peace  and our sympathies to the family.

The Leach family is in the process of organizing a family reunion, something we haven't done for years but used to enjoy each summer and Christmas.  We wanted John and the older cousins to recount memories of our parents and of themselves when younger, like John telling us about our mom and dad, Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Joe, and the first-time dad brought mom around, and how John thought she was gorgeous, but couldn't understand why she had so many shoes!  It gave us comfort at the sad event of mom passing to know she and dad are remembered so fondly.  And now, just 2 short years later, it is all of us that will remember John and recount our memories of him.  I will always remember John as the sweetest, kindest man who loved his family.  And how he brought life to memories of my parents I only know in stories.  For that, I will forever be thankful.

My thoughts and prayers to the Family. John, was a truly great man. He “talked the talk, and walked the walk”  I remember our good times growing up in our family, lots of great memories. Too many to mention. John always was happy and was fun to talk to . John was a true family man and an unsung hero, who did many things for his family for the right reasons. And asked for nothing in return. God Bless you Cuz, Rest In Peace  And, Go Bucks !

John was a wonderful, caring man.  When I would come to visit them, because Judy and I have been friends from way back, he always made me feel welcome.  We had a joke between the two of us.  During Lent, John was giving up sweets, but Judy told him that he could have dessert when I came to visit.  So, no matter when I visited, we would always plan on having dessert.  He loved carrot cake.  We had a great time last year when we travelled to South Dakota.  He loved the Badlands.  I'm so glad that I met John and saw such a warm, caring, loving man to Judy but to their family too.  Rest in peace John.  May your memory be with us always ❤️🙏

As an employee of John's I  actually enjoyed coming to work.John always made me feel appreciated. We didn't always see eye to eye,but we could agree to disagree and complete our project. I am glad I met you.rest in peace my friend.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family.  I can’t express enough how much John meant to me.  At work we had a lot of Nickles memories together.  And, he was also a really great friend.  John was just a very special person.  Will miss him so much.  My love and prayers for peace and comfort are with you.

We met John when he and Judy moved in next door to us.  We have been friends ever since.  He loved to golf, and it didn't matter what type of weather we played in!  When the weather got cold or rainy, he would say "IT'S BREADMAN WEATHER BABY!".   His laugh was contagious.   We helped each other with things around our condo's from putting up the Christmas Tree Lights to changing the bug screen filters and many things in-between.  OH! and don't forget that he was always there to lend a helping hand to our AGCA neighbors.
You are going to be missed my friend!

John was a wonderful neighbor!  I loved chatting with John about the latest in Buckeye football as we passed each other in our morning walks around our community.  John was devoted to his family and to his four-footed friend, Hank.  My love and prayers to you, Judy!  

John Wright is the best golf partner a guy could ever have. Known as Kid Callaway for his choice of golf balls,  John could drive that ball far down the fairway with his 3 wood. When he would slice into the woods on the right he would simply tell me how much he loved playing in those trees. His friendly smile, positive attitude and forgiving grace for his partner’s lousy shot’s brought sunshine into a cloudy day. I will miss you partner. May you always hit them far and straight in those heavenly fairways. Bob
