

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Sue Brown, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She departed this life on September 11th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born October 25th, 1950, in Newark, Ohio to her parents James Robert Beck and Evelyn Eura Everspaugh. Linda lived a life filled with kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished. She dedicated her heart and soul to her husband of 40 years, William (Bill) Brown.
Linda was the proud and loving mother of James (Jim) Bolton, Robert Brown, Lena Newman and Craig Brown, nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She adored her dogs, who were always by her side, and they brought her endless comfort and companionship throughout the years.
Linda often reflected on her loving memories of growing up on her grandparents’ farm in Newark, Ohio surrounded by horses and other farm animals that she loved. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time supporting her father and her son’s love and passion for racing motorcycles and dirt bikes.
Her warmth and friendship touched countless lives, especially those she worked alongside at GE, where she built lifelong friendships and retired after many years of dedicated service. To her colleagues and friends, she will always be remembered for her humor, loyalty, and the way she lit up a room with her smile.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, parents James Robert Beck and Evelyn Eura Everspaugh, her brother David Myers, and her husband, Bill Brown.
Linda is survived by her children Jim Bolton (Angie Mueller), Robert Brown, Lena Newman and her husband Matt, and Craig Brown and his wife Mandy. Her grandchildren Jessica Gathers, James Bolton (Olivia), Lance Bolton, Ashley Salsburey (Tyler), Cierra Carte (Seth), Corrie Phillips (Chase), Carter Brown, Austin Day and Elizabeth Ramsey (Cody). Great-grandchildren Corbin, Teagen, Knox, Miley, Kennedy, Kinsley, Parker, Grayson, Hunter, Ledger, Ayedan, Bella, Simba, Jasmine, Kora, and Corbin. Sister Kim Medley. Brother Dale Myers. As well as many nieces and nephews and other family members.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her family finds comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on through the generations she nurtured and the lives she touched.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025, at Schoedinger Margarum Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the beautiful life she lived.
She will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
