Martha Conley, age 80 of Columbus, peacefully passed away on September 8, 2024, surrounded by her family. Martha was born June 30, 1944. A daughter to the late William and Ella (Rose) Quinn. In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in passing by her husband, Frank Conley and brother, John Quinn.
For 40 years, Martha worked at Kroger. Her last position was in the Kroger bakery. She took great pride in her work.
Martha was a diehard Buckeyes fan. She enjoyed watching them play football and basketball. Her love of sports included Cleveland Browns, March Madness, NASCAR and cheering on her sons in soccer and baseball when they were younger.
Traveling was a passion for Martha. She loved the ocean and taking walks on the beach- that hopefully included a side trip to a casino to try her luck on the slots.
Martha was an avid Euchre and Hand and Foot competitor. She loved ice cream and looking at cooking and travel magazines.
More than anything, Martha loved her family. She always made time to visit, travel and spend time with all her loved ones.
Martha is survived by her loving sons, Gary (Linda) Conley, David (Samia) Conley; grandchildren, Blake (Nicole) Conley, David (Destiny) Conley, Hannah Conley, Sabrina Conley, and Zachary Conley; and six great grandchildren.
