Nancy Kay Bader

Nancy (Miller) Bader, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and daughter, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 18, 2023. Known for her unfailingly upbeat disposition, good sense of humor, generous spirit, and deep commitment to family, friends and faith, Nancy will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Born and raised in Medina, OH, Nancy graduated from Medina High School in 1965. She moved to Columbus in 2017 to be closer to her family. She was a dedicated and enthusiastic office administrator, and many of her most cherished professional memories came from her time as a school secretary, where she delighted in spending time with students, including her sons. Nancy is survived by her sister, Frances Fisher of Flat Rock, IL; son Eric and his wife Kristi Bader of Sandwich, MA; son Greg and his wife Kim Bader of New Albany, OH; and grandchildren Jacob, Daniel, Anna, Abby, Emma and Nora. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Isabelle Miller, and her dear life-long mentor Edith Allen all of Medina, OH. We are comforted to know that Nancy is almost certainly spoiling her furry friends, Moose, Opus, Maverick and Bailey in a better place. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at East Side Grace Brethren Church: 7510 E. Broad St., Blacklick, OH, on Monday, October 23. Visiting hours will begin at 10:00AM, followed by a service at 11:00AM. The following day - Tuesday October, 24 - there will be a brief graveside service at Spring Grove Cemetery in Medina, OH, at 11:00AM. The address for Spring Grove Cemetery is 733 E.
