Paul H. Reiner

Paul is survived by his wife, Jeri Lane; step daughters Lynn Dembski and Lori Manning; and step son Brad Drumm.

He was preceded in death by his mother Helen McKinley; father, Luther H. Reiner; brother Charles; and sister, Virginia. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean; and son, Dustin.

Paul graduated from Bexley High School, after which he graduated from The Ohio State University where he majored in Electronic Engineering. After that, he worked at the Ohio Bell Telephone Company for over 40 years as an Electronic Engineer.

Paul was also a member of the United States Air Force where he served as a cryptographer for three years.

Outside of work, Paul enjoyed his great hobbies of model train collection and both made and flew model airplanes, some of which even had skydivers dropping from them.

Paul was a member of the Train Collectors’ Association and the Academy of Model Aero (AMA), Corks, and Forks.

A memorial service for Paul will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home, 1051 E Johnstown Road, Gahanna, OH 43230. Pastor Wally Contreras, officiating.

Services will conclude with military honors and inurnment at Union Grove Cemetery, 400 Winchester, Canal Winchester, OH 43110.
