Randall Scott Boggess, 68, of Marysville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. He was the loving husband of Mary Lynn (Greene) Boggess. He was born on March 19, 1953 in Albuquerque NM to Marjorie Marie (Shaw) & Randall Lee Boggess.
Randy was a proud Army Veteran from the Vietnam war. He had a fascination with flying throughout his life that started with his time in the Army as a paratrooper & even enjoyed watching hot air balloons fly. He loved being on the water & enjoyed going for long drives whether on “land or sea”. He was always very active & enjoyed working in his garden & the yard. He was an extremely handy man & always seemed to be working on or helping someone with multiple projects. He was naturally good at everything he tried & could be very frustrating to compete with. He could also talk about cars, especially classic cars, for hours. He was a very hard worker, but also made time for fun & relaxation with his family & friends. He was one of those people who would literally give you the shirt off his back & seemed to have a sixth sense for knowing when people were having a tough time & could always find a way to make them laugh. He will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
He was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Jamie Hahn, his mother, Marjorie (Shaw) Hannah & father, Randall Boggess.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of over 40 years, Mary Boggess, his children, John Boggess, Chris Boggess, Jenn (Chris) Lewis, Matt Boggess, Scott Boggess & Andrea Boggess, his grandchildren, Nikki Foster, Taylor (Hunter) Cook, Ian Lewis, Paige Watson, Olivia Boggess, Jayden “Gus” Dade, & Jade Boggess, his great granddaughter, Scarlett Cook, his siblings, Becky Anderson, Wiley (Sheila) Boggess & Vicky McGannon, his nieces/nephews, Courtney Murphy, Michelle Urban, Casie (Cody) Moulton, Sarah (Ben) O’Brien, Heather Raeburn, Katrina Yourich, Patrick Boggess, Michael Boggess & Branden Boggess, his closest/favorite/ cousin/partner in crime through the years, Cheri Sedor, as well as many great nieces/nephews, great great nieces/nephews, cousins, aunts/uncles & in-laws.
Cremation services have been entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME. A Celebration of Life will be held for Randy at the Loyal Order of Moose #1651 at 1561 Milford Ave Marysville OH 43040 on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 1pm-4pm.
