Ray Lovely

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Bea; daughter, Martha Lovely; granddaughter, Terri Tuhro; and sisters Eunice Lovely and Eula Taulbee.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Lovely, of 8 years; son, James Ray (Teresa) Lovely; daughter, Betty (Carl) Jones; stepchildren Timothy Kincaid, Charles Kincaid, and Rita Paxton; grandchildren Jimmy, Nicholas, Samantha (Paul) and Stephanie; great grandchildren Aryana, Lauren, Ryan, and Nico; brother, Sanford; sister, Janice; step grandchildren Kaylee Kincaid, Brittni St. Germain, Brendan Paxton, and Aimee Kincaid; and many nieces and nephews.

Ray had many jobs, but his longest and most loved job was driving long haul trucking all across the country, which he did for over 30 years. He was also the Deacon at his church. Ray loved taking his grandkids fishing, going to car races, playing horseshoes and cards, and working his puzzle books. Ray also enjoyed a good meal.

A service will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 beginning at 5:00pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. Ray’s funeral service will be held at the funeral home the following morning, August 29, beginning at 11am. Services will conclude with interment at Kingwood Memorial Park.

Ray's family encourages guests to bring a photo of themselves with Ray to place on a photo collage board at the funeral home Sunday night or Monday morning.
