Austin was an avid collector of Indian artifacts, rocks, fossils, cars, guns, knives, fishing poles, and other unique treasures. He was loved by everyone who met him, known for his larger-than-life heart. He enjoyed various types of music, attending Bluegrass festivals, and savoring both home-cooked meals and dining out with family and friends.
A dedicated mechanic, Austin spent his final years working as a bus mechanic. He cherished time spent with close friends and family and would do anything to help those he loved. He was the man who gave his shirt off his own back to help those he cared about.
Austin’s kindness and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private Celebration of Life will be organized and held by his closest friends and family.
