Sally Ann Hatfield, age 91 of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 23, 1934, in Wharncliffe, West Virginia, she was the beloved daughter of William Boyd and Fannie (Harrison) Browning, among eleven siblings.
Sally was deeply devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Jack D. Hatfield, as well as her three sons and their wives; Mark and Kathy, Stan and Deana, and Brian and Kathy. Sally’s obvious treasure was her family, and she delighted in her grandchildren, Noah (Holly) Hatfield, Rebekah (Robert) Collier, Elizabeth Robinson, Jennifer (Mark) Mullins, and Austin Hatfield. She also enjoyed her great-grandchildren, Abigail and Aden Hatfield, Elana Collier, Felicity Robinson, Layleah, Tristan, Kolten and Mason Mullins, and Aleah Hatfield, with great pleasure. She is also survived by her sister, Victoria Wellman, of Mt. Home, Arkansas, and other nieces and nephews. She prayed, and worried over all of us!
Sally was a talented cook, and was a lover of hospitality, providing delicious country cooking and inviting desserts for family, friends, and church functions. She was hard-working, direct speaking, and warm hearted. Sally has left an unfading impression upon us, and she will be dearly missed.
