Susan Conway

Susan Phyllis Conway, age 87, passed away at her home on Easter Sunday morning, Sunday April 9th, 2023. She was born on November 21, 1935 to the late Wellman and Ellen Mitchell. Along with her parents, Susan is also preceded in death by her husband John and her brother Bill. Susan was a loving wife, mother of 4, grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 12. She devoted her time and talent to her family being present to guide, encourage and love. She had a great gift for cooking and used that to serve Father John’s Missions of Bolivia, her family and friends. Susan is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Conway; Marianne (Fred) Schoen; John (Valerie) Conway; and Joseph (Melissa) Conway. Grandchildren, Jeff; Joe; Jimmy; Johnny; Maria; Jacob; Patrick; Monica; Marybeth; Catherine; Mark; Will; Michael; Joseph; Christopher; Anna; Theresa; John; Shannon; Sara and Sophia their spouses and children (great-grandchildren).

She was thankful to come into the Catholic Church when she married her husband John in 1957. “Jesus remember her when she comes into your kingdom” Friends may gather at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST (1051 E Johnstown Rd) on Sunday, April 16 from 4PM-7PM with a Rosary Service to be held at 6:30PM. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church (807 Havens Corners Rd.) on Monday, April 17, service to begin at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
