The first word that comes to mind when one thinks of Tim is ‘selfless.’ Tim was a loyal and amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He had just recently retired from decades of dedicated service as an IT Systems Analyst for Chase Bank. He was also a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, TBDBITL, and the Cleveland Browns. Not one to only sit on the sidelines, Tim also enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, and football, and treasured his years coaching his son’s little league baseball teams. Tim was an avid and knowledgeable fisherman and a lover of classic rock, his favorite band being Pink Floyd. Above all else though, Tim loved his family and his grandkids more than anything.
Preceding Tim in death are his aforementioned parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jerri (Collmar) Myers of 44 years (largely spent spoiling her); children Amy (Myers) Strutner and Tim Myers; and beloved grandchildren, Jacob Strutner, Brian Myers, Wyatt Strutner, and Blake Myers. His outgoing personality and altruism will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Memorial Mass for Tim will take place on Saturday, April 6th at 11 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, 6300 E Dublin Granville Rd, New Albany, Ohio 43054. A light luncheon at the church will follow. Services have been entrusted to Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E Johnstown Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230.
