Vicki Lynn Hensley

Vicki Lynn Hensley, age 74, of Gahanna, Ohio (formerly of Aliquippa, PA), passed away on July 29, 2024. She was born on June 8, 1950 in Rochester, PA to Phillip Howard Headley and Eileen Headley Smalley.

Vicki was the Receptionist at Dean Witter in the Huntington Building for 8 years. She also worked many summers at the Gahanna Swimming Pool as well as Little Italy Pizzeria.

She was a supportive football Mom, planning parties and fun events. She loved her Pittsburgh Steelers. Her home became a meeting place for her son’s friends where they could relax or play Battle Ball in the backyard. Vicki enjoyed cooking and trying out new recipes. She loved travelling, especially planning family trips to the Outer Banks, where many memories were created. Vicki’s greatest joy came from her family. She adored her grandchildren and her English Bulldog, Stevie Girl.

Vicki is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Rick Hensley; her children Tim (Betsy Marasek) Hensley and Sean (Marlyn Figueroa-Quirindongo) Hensley; grandchildren, Zachary, Fisher, Spencer and Luna Eileen; sister Connie (Dave) Pearson and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Vicki is preceded in death by her mother, Eileen Headley Smalley, father Phillip Howard Headley, step-father Dillie R. Smalley, and step-sister Rebecca Hixenbaugh.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Vicki’s name to the American Cancer Society.
