Alice Marie Reno, age 76 of Fultondale went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Bobby Lee Reno, and parents Walter and Sophia Gowins. Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Long; children: son Maxie Reno (Joyce), daughter Drinda Peebles (Billy), daughter Leenise Gaddy (Steve) and son Deran Reno (Kim); ten grandchildren: Tammy Sanders, Alecia Rowe, Tiffany Parker, Michelle Peebles, Bobby Peebles, Amber Reno, Brandi Reno, Blake Reno, Savannah Gaddy and Caleigh Kincaid; eleven great grandchildren; sisters: Shirley Scott, Sara Smith (Donnie) and brother Curtis Gowins (Maxine). Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Moncrief Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Also a special thank you to New Beacon Hospice for their loving care.
