Alvie H. Estes, age 91, of Birmingham passed away Monday, February 27, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, his 12 siblings, and was also preceded by a son, Fred B. Estes. He is survived by his nieces, nephews, and many friends. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WW II on the Destroyer, U.S.S. Monssen. He worked as a machinist at Goslin Manufacturing and retired from Connor Steel.
As he requested, graveside services will be held Thursday, March 2nd, at 11 AM in Oak Hill Cemetery in Jasper, AL.
