Anna, of Gardendale, passed away peacefully at the age of 77. Anna retired from At&t after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Gardendale Mount Vernon Methodist Church. She was a voracious reader and loved to travel the world.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Alta Adams and she is survived by her son, Matthew Smith (Mary Ann); sisters, Gloria Strickland (Johnny) and Judy Knopf, and a host of friends and loved ones.
A visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Monday, February 20, 2017 beginning at 10:00 AM followed by a graveside service in Oakwood Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM.
