Mrs. Annie Mae Kelling passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the age of 94, Mrs. Kelling was a lifelong resident of Mount Olive, AL, and a member of the First Baptist Church Mount Olive. During WWII, she was an asbestos worker, cutting and packing insulation for warships being built in Pascagoula, MS.
She was preceded in death by husband, William A. Kelling and her parents, Z.W. and Cora Wilson; her sister, Lessie Marie Lang; brother, James A. Wilson.
She is survived by her sons, James R. Kelling (June) of Adamsville and William R. Kelling of Mount Olive; granddaughters, Amy Kelling and Emily Kelling, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am; funeral service at 1:00 pm followed by her burial in Mount Olive Cemetery, Mount Olive AL.
