Betty was preceded in death by her father, JD Hobson; her husband, Cecil Hyde; niece, Christy Hobson and a nephew, Jamie Hobson.
Betty is survived by her mother, Mary Corkerin (Curtis); brothers, James Hobson (Patty), Billy Ray Hobson (Sherry), JD Hobson (Linda), and Raymond Hobson (Sandy); a sister, Donna Jean Rowe (Steven); many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Friday, August 18, 2017, with a visitation to begin at 10:00 am; funeral service at 11:00 am followed by her burial in Hullette Chapel Cemetery, Springville, AL.
