Bobbie Nell Burke

She was born to Leonard and Mary Weldon Pate in Sumiton, Alabama on August 24, 1942.

Bobbie was a member of Walkers Chapel Baptist Church and retired from Media Services/ Time Warner.

Bobbie was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Marshall Alton Burke. She was also predeceased by her brother, James Larry Pate, and grandson, Benjamin Allen Cochran.

Bobbie is survived by her three children: Michael (Nancy) Burke of Fultondale, AL; Bobbie Ellen Burke of Deland, FL; and Janet Burke Dunaway of Hoover, AL.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Eli Dunaway, Michael Burke, Jr., Matthew Burke, Meredith Cochran, Karen Burke Enloe, Riley Stone, and Jasmine Dunaway.

And nine great-grandchildren:

Elizabeth Burke, Kenzie Burke, Oakley Dunaway, Chloe Dunaway, Lakin Dunaway, Maddox Burke, Levi Enloe, Mack Burke, and Major Burke.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 9th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 5 until 8 PM. Chapel services will be Friday beginning at 1 PM followed with interment in Good Hope Baptist Cemetery in Sumiton, AL..
