Carol Renee McCombs, age 53 of Morris, AL went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Renee was an active member of ChristWay Church of God where she loved singing in the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronnie and Betty Lee. Renee is survived by her husband of 29 years, Greg McCombs and her son, Lance McCombs. She is also survived by her brother, Kevin Lee; sister, Daphne Lee; father-in-law, Leon McCombs, and her brother-in-law, Lee McCombs (Shelecia); and a host of extended family including nieces, nephews, her church family, and many friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 25th at ChristWay Church of God, 961 Mt. Olive Road, Gardendale, AL 35071 at 7:00 PM with visitation from 5 until 7 PM. Interment will follow with graveside services for family and friends on Wednesday at 10 AM in Oakwood Memorial Gardens in Gardendale. Rev Donnie Sanders will officiate services.Arrangements under the direction of Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL.
