Chad Allen, a resident of Gardendale, Alabama, passed away on December 25, 2025. Born on January 18, 1980, Chad was known for his generous spirit and a remarkable talent for craftsmanship; he could design and build just about anything.
Whether he was tackling a complex repair or simply "piddlin'" around his house on a new project, Chad was at his happiest when working with his hands. He was famously handy and never hesitated to offer his skills to friends or neighbors in need of help with a home project. His passion for homes led him to courageously establish his own business, Red Mountain Inspections. He truly loved his work as a home inspector and was highly respected for his expertise and dedication to the trade, as well as the care he showed his clients.
A lifelong fan of Alabama football, Chad’s enthusiasm for the Crimson Tide was a signature part of his personality, often punctuating his conversations with a spirited "Roll Tide!"
Chad was preceded in death by his father, Don Allen, and his grandparents, Mike and Elizabeth Bohorfoush. He is survived by his mother, Renee Allen; his brother, Blake Allen and his wife Lindsay, along with their children, Mercy and Noella; and his sister, Elizabeth Parsons and her husband Noah, along with their children, Selah, Eliora, Enoch, Silas, Gideon, and Othniel.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 2, 2026, at the Hunter Street Baptist Church Chapel. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by the service at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Chad’s honor.
