Charles Lamar Graves

He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and amember of Holy Ground Worship Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Agnes Cosner; father in law and mother in law, Cecil and Zella Mae Price; bothers, Kenneth Graves and Jack Graves and sister, Carol Alexander.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra P. Graves; son, Philip A. Graves (Abigail); daughters, Denise Roper (Phillip), Charlotte Lockhart (Russell) and Tammy Clinkscales (Daniel); 2 special ladies loved and considered as daughters, Kelley Rovinsky (Mike) and Mary Clark (Terrell); sister, Tami D Roberts (Boo). 10 grandchildren, Landen Graves, Logan Graves, Ella Graves, Dixie Graves, Jonathan Cooper (Christy), Jennifer Tucker (Nigel), David Lockhart, Camron Lockhart, Bailey Lockhart and Devin Lockhart; 11 great grandchildren, Riley Cooper, Lexi Cooper, Jace Cooper, Gracie Cooper, Aunaleigh Tucker, Brooklyn Tucker, Colton Tucker, Kole Aldridge, Grayson Roper, Lily and Alex. He also survived by many nieces and nephews and a loving church family.

A visitation for Charles will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel.

Charles will be laid to rest in Highland Memorial Gardens, 3115 18th Avenue North, Bessemer, AL 35020.
